Counselling

Have you or a family member received a cancer diagnosis?

What can you do?

It can help to talk through issues and feelings with a person from outside you daily life, and a Counsellor may be that person. A counsellor may help you find different ways of coping that hadn't occurred to you before. Counselling is always strictly CONFIDENTIAL.

Why Choose Counselling?

· Counselling can help you cope better with the difficulties you may face during and after a cancer diagnosis and treatment.

· Counselling will help you reduce stress and improve your quality of life and give you the tools to cope with the diagnosis.

· Counselling can help you overcome phobias and fears associated with your illness for example fear of injections or being confined to a small space during an MRI scan.

At Arklow Cancer Support we offer:

  • One to one counselling

  • Telephone consultation

  • Family support

  • Adolescence

  • Child Play therapy

  • Bereavement Counselling

Can we help you?

If you think that you or a member of your family may benefit from counselling please don’t hesitate to contact our office where a member of our team will organise a consultation for you.
